6.12. The Independence Day of Finland

Language lessons

                                 Our school's languages
In our school,we can study English, French, German and Swedish. We (Alma, Kerttu, Kasu) study French and English. Language lessons are nice. Kerttu and Kasu think English is easy. Alma thinks French is interesting and fun. Kerttu wants to learn Spanish later. In language lessons, we write and read. Sometimes we also play language games. In the English lesson, at the moment, we are studying jobs in English.We also did a restaurant dialogue in French lesson. You can see  pictures about it below. We wrote lines and then we played them in the class. It was fun.

HALLOWEEN

Hi! Alma and Elli are telling you about Finnish Halloween.
In Finland Halloween is not a very big deal. Almost nobody goes for a Trick-or-treat tour. We do the same thing in Easter, but we dress as bunnies and witches. And if we don't get candy, we don't do pranks.
Sometimes we just have a little Halloween party. We dress as monsters and skeletons. And we eat scary looking food. And of course we have our Jack-o-Lanterns.
We think that we should celebrate Halloween more.
